Shipping Policy
We cannot wait for you to receive your Eastover Collection shipment! We work with UPS Ground and selected third-party carriers to ensure a seamless delivery and the highest level of protection for your order. At checkout, you will be directed to the appropriate delivery option best suited to your order size and type of delivery location. More information on each option is available below:
UPS GROUND
Individual planters sized 17" and 20” will ship via UPS Ground. If there is a sizeable number of planters ordered, we may recommend crating and shipping via LTL Freight. We will reach out to you and work directly if we need to adjust shipping charges accordingly.
LTL FREIGHT SHIPPING - RESIDENTIAL/CURBSIDE
Planters 22" in size or larger, as well as vertical accents 7' or under, and some custom items will be shipped via a third party LTL carrier for curbside freight delivery. If your delivery address is a residence, you may select “Residential” as your delivery location type at checkout. In addition to the LTL base rate, there are automatic charges included for delivering to a residence as well as call-ahead services to arrange for delivery. A person must be on location to receive the delivery, open and inspect the contents, and sign for the shipment. Any damage claims must be reported within 24-hours of delivery.
For further specialized delivery such as unpacking and discarding the crate and placing your Eastover Collection piece or pieces in their desired location, please select White Glove Delivery at checkout.
LTL FREIGHT SHIPPING - COMMERCIAL (BUSINESS/WAREHOUSE WITH A LIFTGATE)
Planters 22" in size or larger, as well as vertical accents 7' or under, and some custom items will be shipped via LTL Freight for curbside delivery. If your delivery address is a business address or receiving warehouse, you may select “Commercial” as your delivery location type at checkout.
All deliveries will take place during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. There is no service to call ahead and arrange for delivery.
WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
You will also find an option to request White Glove Delivery during checkout. If selected, your order will be routed to our Customer Care team, which will provide you with a customized quote outside of our standard website checkout process. Once we receive payment for the quoted delivery service, we will ship your item.
LOCAL PICK-UP
We are based in Concord, NC, located 35 minutes northeast of Charlotte, NC. If you would like to arrange to pick up your product(s) and avoid shipping charges / delivery logistics, please select local pick-up when checking out and we can arrange for you to pick up your items.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Shipping of custom orders will be handled on a case-by-case basis and handled directly with our Customer Care team.
INSURANCE
Regardless of the shipping method, all Eastover Collection planters and garden accents are packaged and shipped with the highest degree of care and protection. UPS Ground orders are shipped in boxes, and all other shipments are packaged in secure crates. A shipping insurance fee will be added to your order during checkout as a percentage of the retail value. Percentage may vary based on market conditions.
DAMAGE DURING TRANSIT POLICY
We require that the receiver open the crate immediately while the truck is on premise to make sure the planter(s) or product(s) is/are in good condition and not damaged. If there is damage, please refuse the crate. If the truck has left and you identify damage, please call us immediately to let us know that your shipment arrived damaged. After this 24-hour inspection period has ended, we are not able to or liable to make a claim to the insurance provider. We recommend documenting any noticeable damage by taking pictures to keep as a record. We work with third party carriers, and if there is a damage claim due to transport, Eastover Collection will be the intermediary to report the claim and begin the process of reimbursement, which we will pass along to the customer once settled.
PRODUCT PRICE & SALES TAX
The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in the order receipt and order confirmation emails. The Company may change prices at any time without notice. Price increases will only apply to orders placed after such changes.
The Company charges sales tax where required by law. If your shipment is to a state where sales tax is charged, the appropriate charges will be added to your merchandise total and displayed in your order. Prices for the products do not include charges for shipping and handling.
Separate charges for tax and shipping will be itemized in your shopping cart and on shipping confirmation email.
